ShazzrahShazzrah's Attacks: Blink: He drops all aggro on the MT every 40-45 seconds, casts this, and Blinks to a random player. When he Blinks, his hate list is cleared. Arcane Explosion: This AoE spell does 925 to 1075 arcane damage, and has a range of about 20 yards. Deaden Magic: This is a self buff which reduces all magic damage on him by 50 percent. Keeping this Dispelled will keep the battle from becoming too drawn out. Curse of Shazzrah: This is a Curse which doubles the magical damage done to the target. It has a five minute duration and a 35 yard range. It should be dispelled immediately. This is particularly harmful when he Blinks to a group, since he casts Arcane Explosion each time he Blinks, and that doubles the already powerful spell. Divide your raid group into three groups, and position them in clusters at the far NE, SE, and SW of Garr's room. Each group should contain at least one Warrior, one healer, and one dispeller. The MT stands in the center of the room. Send a Hunter to Use Eye of the Beast to pull Shazzrah. After Shazzrah has killed the Hunter's pet, he will come to the Hunter, who should use Aspect of the Cheetah and run directly to the MT. Usually after Shazzrah is pulled he will Blink to one of the three groups. No one should attack if this happens, because aggro control is extremely important in this fight. The Warrior in the target group needs to pull Shazzrah back to the MT, so that the MT can gain aggro control again. At this point the Mage-Priest pair who have been tasked with casting Detect/Dispell Magic need to cast. Give the order to attack as soon as that is completed. You will have a very short window in which to do damage to him before he Blinks again. Continue the strategy of having the Warrior pull him back to the center, Mage-Priest pair casting, then resuming attacks until the next Blink. It's simply a matter of wearing him down. When his health has dropped to 10-20 percent, melee fighters can move in to use DPS attacks on him.
