Golemagg the Incinerator

Golemagg's Attacks:

Pyrobolt: This is a random attack on a raid member, which does 2000 fire damage. It includes a DOT that will cause 200 damage every three seconds, and has a 12 second duration.

Golemagg's Trust: This is a buff aimed at his Core Ragers. It increases their damage by 500 and thier attack speed by 50 percent if they are in range.

Magma Splash: When struck by a melee attack, Golemagg has a chance to proc this. It's a fire based DOT which does 50 damage every three seconds, and reduces armor by 250. Because it stacks, if allowed to continue it can do 1000 damage every three seconds, and reduce armor by 5000.

Attract Rager: Golemagg casts this when his health reaches 10 percent. All raid members other than the Warriors tanking the Core Ragers will be hit by this, and have their aggro increased slightly.

Golemagg is attended by two Core Rager guards. They should be moved away from him by an Off Tank Warrior, and kept busy for the duration of the fight. They need to be at a distance far enough to keep him from buffing them. The Ragers have an attack called Mangle, which will reduce movement by 50 percent and cause 300 physical damage every two seconds. It's important the the OTs not attempt to bring the Core Rager's health below 50 percent. If they do the Rager will send a message, "Core Rager refuses to die while its master is in trouble" and it will regen to full health.

While the OTs are occupying the Core Ragers, the rest of the party should concentrate on Golemagg. The MT should attack Golemagg and start placing Sunder Armor. When he gains sufficient aggro, the rest of the party should start immediate and heavy DPS.

Golemagg's damage increases dramatically when his health reaches 10 percent, and he has a chance to cause AoE damage from his Earthquake effect. It can do 1500 damage to those within its effect range. Healers need to be alert for the 10 percent threshhold, and increase their heals for the rest of the fight.

When Golemagg dies, his guards will die soon after.
