Baron GeddonBaron Geddon's Attacks: Ignite Mana: This debuff burns away 400 mana every three seconds and converts it to damage. It should be dispelled from anyone other than rogues and warriors, who are not affected by it. It has a range of 35 yards. Inferno: This attack is a pulse attack which resembles the Warlock Hellfire attack. The pulses come about one second apart and there are ten of them. The first pulse causes 500 points of fire damage, and each pulse increases by 500, meaning the final pulse will do 5000 points of fire damage. Move out of range immediately after the first pulse. Baron Geddon will not move during the attack, so this is a sure way to prevent further damage. Living Bomb: About every 15 seconds Baron Geddon will select a random target from everyone assembled, and turn them into a Living Bomb. about eight seconds after being selected, the target will explode, causing heavy damage to everyone around them. CT Raid Assist has a warning that will inform targeted players. Targeted players need to immediately run to the wall behind them, to insure that they do not damage other players. This spell cannot be dispelled but it can be removed by Ice Block or Divine Shield. Baron Geddon is usually pulled to Garr's room for an easier fight. Have a Hunter use Eyes of the Beast to pull him to this room. The MT should be forward of the rest of the group, who are spread out in a slightly curved line. The line spreads out in order to avoid a wipe in case of a bomb that doesn't move. Priests and paladins should be evenly distributed within the semi-circle so that they can dispel the mana burn DoT on everyone. The MT should position himself so that he's at max range from the healers in the line. when he attacks he needs to place Sunder Armor as quickly as possible. Once the tank has aggro, melees can run in, place a few well aimed attacks, then runsout to do ranged damage. They can run in again after he completes his next "Inferno" attack. Casters and ranged players attack from the furthest distance possible. One or two Off Tanks should be nearby, in case the MT dies. Even the main tank must run out while he does Inferno. The first few pulses aren't bad, but the last few will kill anything. Using CT Raid Assist and Boss Mods will make identifying the bomb much easier, and makes this fight go much smoother. A designated person should also call out the name of the Living Bomb on Ventrillo or Team Speak, and make sure the person immediately heads to an area well away from the rest of the raid group. There are places in the room where you don't even leave the ground when you explode. If a player explodes in an open area, Mages and Priests can cast Featherfall or Levitate, which will mitigate the falling damage and increase those classes survivability from being the bomb.
